Daniel J. Hyman

President

Daniel J. Hyman is a 26-year veteran in the commercial real estate field and has been named Commercial Broker of the Year for three consecutive years by the Chicago Board of Realtors.  As President and founder of Millennium Properties R/E, Inc. Dan set out ten years ago to establish a niche in the real estate investment business that focused on providing brokerage services, property management, real estate auctions, receivership services and consulting to institutional investors, corporations and private capital.

Personally involved in over $2.6 billion in real estate sales, Dan's client's include companies such as Prudential Insurance Company, Chase Bank, Pacific Life, Nestlé Foods, Indiana Public Service Company, Comerica Bank, JMB Realty, Bank of America, Hong Kong Shanghai Bank, McDonald’s, Aramark Services, Harris Trust & Savings Bank, and numerous other property management companies, investors and syndicators.  He has also performed the duties of receiver, consultant and leasing and sales agent for foreclosed and over-leveraged properties, on behalf of state courts as well as the Federal Bankruptcy Court.  Clients include LaSalle Bank, Fifth Third bank, Lend Lease, GMAC and Cho Hung Bank.

Before founding Millennium Properties R/E, Inc. Dan was a principal and president of a national real estate firm.  In this capacity he was responsible for all commercial brokerage, auctioning and leasing services including an extensive management portfolio.  Throughout his tenure he has also been a featured speaker on real estate, finance and business technology before legal and real estate educational groups.

Mr. Hyman holds a master’s degree in business administration from Loyola University with a concentration in marketing and finance, and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Drake University where he graduated with all-university honors.  He also graduated at the top of his class from the Missouri Auction School in Kansas City, Missouri.  He is a member of many organizations including International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), the Chicago Real Estate Board (former director) and Turnaround Management Association.
